Obituary for Ruben Aponte

Ruben Aponte, 50, of North Arlington, formerly of Newark, passed away on Thursday February 17th, 2017. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington will be private. caggianomemorial.com


Ruben graduated from Bloomfield College with a Masters in Criminal Justice, and worked as a probation officer for Essex County for almost 30 years.

He is survived by his his mother Ana Aponte, his siblings, Marilyn, Elsie, Lourdes, Marisol, Noel and numerous nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by his father William Aponte, and his siblings, William, Evelyn and Valerie.
