Antonina Ofsak (nee Russo) 71, of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, April 15th, 2014. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 21st, 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield, with an entombment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Saturday, April 19th, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com
Nina was born and raised in Montclair before moving to Bloomfield in 1970. She was a sales clerk at Hahne's & Co and then Jeanette Nutley Center for many years. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair and St Thomas the Apostle in Bloomfield, a CCD instructor at St Thomas the Apostle, and a member of the Women's Club of Bloomfield.
She is predeceased by her husband Charles in 2003, and survived by her children, Angela Pilsbury and her husband Rich, Michele Ofsak, four grandchildren, Matthew, Natalie, Nicole, William, her brother Thomas Russo and his wife Mel, dear friend Frank Candido, and three nieces
