Ada C. Monzon, age 66, Native of Lima Peru, resident of Montclair went home to be with Jesus on
Tuesday December 5, 2023 at St. Barnabas Hospital. Ada was born on October 8 1957. She was the
daughter of Maria Razuri and Julio Huaman. Ada is one of 10 siblings Edgar, Felix, Marco, Carlos,
Americo and sisters Nelida, Irma, Doris, Hermila, and Ninfa. She was a favorite Tia (aunt) to many but
most of all an amazing mother to David, Jennifer and Stephanie. She was also an awesome
grandma/gam. Ada graduated from West Caldwell High School. She participated in activities such as
volleyball, gymnastics, and track. Ada attended a technical college, studied to be a medical secretary and
graduated in 1976. She devoted 18 years working at East Orange General Hospital as a patient
registration coordinator in the emergency room. One of her most amazing achievements was buying a
home for her family in Montclair where she raised her family. She always kept her door open to many
with a place to stay when needed. All were welcomed at the "Monzon Motel". Ada was loved by many,
although we are all heartbroken with her passing, we are grateful to have had her in our lives. She will
be greatly missed but she has forever laid her love on each of us. She is gone but will never be forgotten.
