Angela P. Gervasio (Zambri), 82, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and so much more, passed away on September 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life will be celebrated during a Funeral Mass at 10 am on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona with internment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Montclair. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair, caggianomemorial.com.
Angela grew up in Montclair and graduated from Montclair High School in 1960. Angela married her high school sweetheart, Neil Gervasio, in June 1964. Together, they raised their family in Verona, New Jersey. Angela was an active and valued member of the Our Lady of the Lake Parish community. She and Neil served as CCD teachers, on the RCIA committee, were active in the Youth Group, and Cornerstone programs. Angela was the Parish Secretary at Notre Dame Parish in North Caldwell, New Jersey, for over 30 years before her retirement.
Angela was pre-deceased by her parents, Patsy and Marianne Zambri, her brother, Robert Zambri, and her son, Neil James Jr.. Angela is survived by her beloved husband Neil, of 61 years, their five daughters: Patrice Noyes (Carl), Lisa Alfano (John), Dana Socci (Robert), Noele Lonergan (John), and Kim Schneider (John). Also survived by 12 grandchildren: Christian, Danielle (David), Victoria, Sara, Mia, Angela, Nicholas, Abby, Daniel, Samantha, Jaclyn, and Aidan. Also, her brother, Patrick Zambri (Camille). In addition to many cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
