Angelina (Angie) Festa (nee Moschella), 91, of Verona, NJ passed away on July 6 th , 2024.
Angelina was born and raised in Montclair before moving to Verona in 1973, she worked at JJ
Newberry's for many years, upon retirement she worked as a lunch aide at Forest Ave school in
Verona. She was an avid member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Montclair and devoted to
her family's patron Saint Sebastian. She will always be remembered for her Feast Day BBQ's. A true
sports fan she cheered for Montclair High School football up until her grandson began playing football
in Verona, always seated in the bleachers at the fifty-yard line, where she never missed a game and
was often the loudest fan in the crowd.
Mrs. Festa is survived by her husband of 68 years, Angelo, her daughter Lucille Poliseno and her
husband Paul Poliseno, grandson Nicholas Poliseno and his wife Christina Poliseno and two great-grandchildren Dana and Vincent and two brothers Michael and Sebastian Moschella. She is
predeceased by her parents Joseph and Theresa Moschella, a sister Josephine Flanagan and
brothers Carl and Jerry Moschella.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on at 10am Tuesday, July 9th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Oratory, Montclair, burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. The family will receive relatives and friends at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Oratory, Montclair, prior to the Mass.
