Angelo Altieri, 74, of Clifton, passed away on Monday September 30th, 2019.
He lived, laughed and loved with his whole heart and will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday October 3rd, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Wednesday October 2nd, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.
Angelo was born and raised in Aquilonia, (AV) Italy, before coming to the United States and settling in Clifton. He was the owner of Head Games Salon in Little Falls for 45 years and was a hairdresser for Via Veneto in Cedar Grove for the past two years. He was a member of the St Vito's Society in Montclair.
He is survived by his wife Cleofe (nee Tartaglia) Altieri, his daughters, Daniela Buscio and her husband Tony, Sabrina Gonnello and her husband Richard, his brothers, Vito Altieri and Michele Altieri, by his grandchildren, Tony and Giovanni Buscio and Gianluca Gonnello. He was predeceased by his parents Vito Gaetano and Maria (nee Marzullo) Altieri.
