Anthony Pascucci, lifelong parishioner of St. Lucy's Church and devotee of St. Gerard.
Anthony C. Pascucci (81) of West Orange, formerly of Newark, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 22nd, from 6:00 – 8:00 and Sunday, March 23rd from 2:00 – 6:00 at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove Street, Montclair, NJ. Funeral mass is at 11:00 on Monday, March 24th at St. Lucy's Church, Newark followed by interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, NJ. Anthony is survived by his spouse Richard S. Blauvelt, his nephew Gaetano (Tom) Averna and his wife Donna, great nephew Michael Averna and great nieces Amanda (Ryan) Warren and Jamie Averna. He is also survived by his cousin Anna Lawton, husband Tom and family, several cousins and friends, along with his St. Lucy's Church family. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony Pascucci, Jr., Susie (Nappi) Pascucci and sister, Anna V. Averna.
Anthony was a Eucharistic Minister, Coordinator of the Feast of St. Gerard and Vice Chairman of the Guard of Honor at St. Lucy's Church. He was Vice President at Howard Savings Bank and Manager at Garden State Check Cashing in Newark, NJ, before retiring in 2012. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, may he rest in peace.
