Brian Scott Baird died peacefully with his family by his side in Saddle River, New Jersey, on
May 23 rd at the age of 64.
Brian was predeceased by his beloved parents Catherine and William Baird and parents-in-law
Patricia and Donald Rasmusson, and is survived by his loving wife, Thérèse, his three children,
Kaitlin Noyes (Tim), Colleen Baird, and Brian William Baird (Amanda), and his grandson
Oliver.
Brian was born on April 27th in the Bronx, New York. He graduated from Fordham
University in 1982 with a degree in Computer Science and Finance and received his MBA from
Pace University in 1986. He married Thérèse, the love of his life, in 1983. After moving to Cedar
Grove, New Jersey, Brian had a seasoned career at Chemical Bank, BankLink, and Citibank,
later Citigroup, where he grew to become Director, Global Connectivity Services.
Brian was passionate about sports and volunteered as a coach at the grammar school and high
school levels throughout his life. He loved fishing and was a dedicated member of the Knights of
Columbus and St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Cedar Grove.
His children remember him as a generous father who supported them in pursuit of their dreams,
loved them beyond measure, and fought for his family until the very end.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at Caggiano's Funeral Home at 62 Grove Street in
Montclair from 4:00-8:00PM with a funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, May 30 th at
10:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ.
