Canio Zarrillo's Obituary
Canio Zarrillo, 92, longtime Montclair resident, passed away December 24th, 2019. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday December 28th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair.
Canio was the general manager of Brookdale Shoprite in Bloomfield for many years, and served in the US Army during WWII. Family came first, and he enjoyed vacationing at The Limetree in Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Lillian (nee Niosi), and by his children, Thomas Zarrillo and his wife Debra, MaryAnn Symons and her husband Edward, Nancy Mulzet and her husband Glenn, Susan Umbach and her husband John, and Lisa Tyrrell, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother in law Robert Butt and sister in law Colleen Zarrillo.
Canio was predeceased by his siblings, Vincenza Fiorovanti, Josephine Butt, and Michael Zarrillo, and by his great grandson Canio Zarrillo.
