Carmella "Parmie" DeCaito, (nee Vozzo), 94, passed away on October 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 13, at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Oratory in Montclair, with interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery to follow. Viewing hours Sunday from 2-6 at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair.

Carmella was born and raised in Montclair before moving to Cedar Grove 25 years ago. Carmella held various supervisory positions, her last being an accounts payable bookkeeper at Montclair State University. After retiring she became a lunch aide in the Cedar Grove school district for many years.

Carmella was pre-deceased by her husband Alfonse "Tubby", her son-in-law Stephen Risimini, her parents Frank and Marianne, and her siblings Emilia, Louis, Teresa and Josephine.

Carmella is survived by children Janice Risimini, Debbie Rubino and her husband Dave, her 9 grandchildren Melissa, Rocco, Lori, Nicholas, Michael, Stephanie, Vincenzina, Dominic and Michael and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Frank and many nieces and nephews.

Carmella loved gardening, her lawn and going to the casino, but above all she loved spending time with her family, especially her "Tuesday Dinners".
