Christopher Stuart Lau, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2023.



Chris was born on November 26, 1983 in Bronxville NY to Cindy and Craig Lau of Manalapan.



After graduating from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in communication, Chris started a successful career in advertising sales.



In 2010, Chris met Danielle Santomenno at a mutual friends birthday dinner. They were married in 2014 and went on to have two children, Joseph and Matthew, now 5 and 2 years old.



Chris was a devoted husband and father. Although Chris only had a few short years to enjoy with his two boys, he made countless special memories with them.



Chris was known for his warm, inviting smile and the lifelong friendships he made throughout the years. He cared so deeply for everyone he knew. He was so thoughtful and made an impact on many lives. He will be forever missed.



Chris is survived by his wife Danielle; his children Joseph and Matthew; his parents Craig and Cindy; his brother Geoff, sister-in-law Courtney and their children Luna and Storm.


Visiting Tuesday, June 20th from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 30 N Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042 on Wednesday, June 21 at 11 AM. The entombment will immediately follow at Mt Hebron Cemetery, 851 Valley Rd, Montclair, NJ 07043.
