The second child of Charles Wilfred Isaacs-Francis and Doris
May {Dolly) Francis, nee Mcleod. She is the fifth grandchild of Hubert Isaacs-Francis and Antoinette Isabelle Francis, nee Findley.
She was baptized at the St. Johns Parish Church, Black River,
St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Claudette studied for her confirmation event at St. Andrews
Parish Church, Half Way Tree, Kingston, Jamaica. She continued to be a congregant at St. Andrews Parish Church until she studied and became baptized as a Jehovah's Witness.
Claudette first attended the Salvation Army Private
Kindergarten School in Black River then transfer to Central Branch Primary in Kingston. From there she moved on to Peterkin's Preparatory school in Kingston, Jamaica. She was athletic since primary school through high school and excelled in various sports.
On graduating from Peterkin's Preparatory she enrolled at St. Monica's College, succeeding in her LCC exams and other exiting exams. Claudette was crowned Miss St. Monica's the year of her graduation. After graduation she followed in her paternal grandfather's foot steps and worked in the Accounting Department, for The Ministry of Health. She also enrolled at Fitz Henley Business School to hone her accounting skills.
Before migrating to the United States she met and married Roderick Benjamin Carter II on April 8, 1967. This marriage produced three children; Roderick B. III, Audrey and Lawrence.
Claudette furthered her studies by completing three years at Bloomfield College in the field of nursing. She later took computer courses at Katerine Gibbs.
Claudette was employed at AT&T (NY), Montclair Savings Bank, freelanced in the Bookkeeping industry before ending her secular career at JC Penny, Wayne, NJ.
Claudette was predeceased in death by her parents, her senior sibling Carlton Francis and nephew Nikos Francis.
Claudette leaves behind three children Roderick B. III/ Melissa, Audrey Antoinette and Lawrence Michael. Her siblings Eric (Peter)/ Claudine Marshall Francis, Helen, Robert, Everton and Geraldine.
Six grandchildren; Rashon, Idressa, Roderick Malcolm, Raymond, Aubrey/ Taylor and Avery. Five great grandchildren; Idris, ZaKhi, Jahir, Nikos and Amara Lynn. Nephews; Roy, Michael (Dave), Gregory, Carlos (Canada), William, Jermaine, Robert Jr. and Derrick. Nieces; Dillion, Paulette, Chante (Canada), Kerry, Sashana, Tashae, Tamoy and Chanti (Jamaica), Asante. Grandniece; Aasiyah.
A host of nephew's, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
