Donna Lynn (Tascoe) Wood's sunrise was on May 28, 1945, and her sunset was June 2, 2023. She was the loving wife of Lawrence "Larry" Wood Sr that were united in Holy Matrimony on November 23, 1980. Donna has 4 children in which she had 3 children in her 1st marital union with William Ricks and are William "Ricky" Ricks (deceased), Robert "Bobby" Ricks, and Rhonda Lynn Ricks. In Donna's 2nd martial union, she had her 4th child Lawrence "Larry" Wood Jr.

Donna was highly instrumental with her husband helping to form Wood's Dairy Land and working with her mother-in-law Lola Wood in Wood's Catering. Her biggest joy was seeing the smiles on children's faces when they bought an ice cream for even the big kids us adults. Donna's heart was a soft one but, also balanced with a strong sense of firmness, attitude, and sass for days. Donna's biggest joys were being by her husband's side in all his professional avenues, being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and being around her close friends. Donna also enjoyed gardening and entertaining her friends and family.

Donna and her husband were devoted members of United Methodist Church of Orange, NJ since 2016 and adored greatly their pastor Prescott Butler and their fellow congregation members. Donna had an indescribable internal strength that many loved and admired and was displayed all the way to the very end as a fighter.

Donna is survived by her husband Lawrence E. Wood. Children: Robert "Bobby" Ricks, Rhonda Lynn Ricks, and Lawrence "Larry" Wood Jr. Her sister Barbara "Elaine" Sellers, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren to include many other relatives and friends.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Robert and Dorothy Tascoe, her first spouse William Ricks, her son William "Ricky" Ricks and her siblings Robert and Dottie.
