Enrico Vitale, 94, formerly of Clifton and Montclair, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
Born in Salerno, Italy, Enrico emigrated to the United States in the 1950s. He spent many years as the General Manager of Orenstein Fashion in Garfield. He was known for his impeccable sense of style, always dressing with care and pride. An avid gardener, he took special joy in tending his lawn and his vegetable garden, and he was also a passionate hunter who loved spending time in the field.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife in 2020 Incoronata (nee Marzullo) and by his siblings.
He is survived by his children, Susan Vitale-Hanson and her companion Ray, his children Hannah and Hayley and Maria Uram and her husband Doug; and by his grandchildren, Carina, Brendan, Lisa Marie, and Douglas, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will live on forever in our hearts, in our memories, and in the love he gave so freely.
In leu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
