Esther Istivan's Obituary
Esther Istivan, (nee Alterio) of Garfield passed away on Friday February 16, 2024.
Visiting Thursday February 22nd, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair. Funeral service Friday, February 23rd, at 11am at Caggiano Memorial, Montclair. Interment at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
Esther is survived by her son, Ronald and his wife Wilma (nee Farina) Istivan Sr.; by her grandchildren, Stephen Istivan and Jeanne Marie Scanlon and her husband Jay, and by her great grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Scanlon and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Istivan in 2007, and by her grandson Ronald Istivan, Jr, and by six siblings.
