Obituary in Loving Memory of Mrs. Eulalie Bernice Thomas Davis
December 18, 1922 – November 19, 2025 (Age 102)
Mrs. Eulalie Bernice Davis fell asleep in death peacefully with loving family in the comfort of her home in Montclair, New Jersey and is now safe in Jehovah's memory. Born in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic in 1922, Mrs. Davis was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and a faithful servant of Jehovah God.
Mrs. Davis was known for her gentle yet disciplined spirit, unwavering faith, compassionate services for decades as a nurse in Essex County, New Jersey, and loving support of her family and close friends. Centenarian Mrs. Davis lived a long life characterized by resilience and a deep love for the Bible's promises. Baptized in 1947 in the Dominican Republic, and migrating to the United States to study and work as a licensed nurse until retirement in the 1980s, Mrs. Davis participated many times as an auxiliary pioneer with the Montclair North, New Jersey Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She also provided support to her dear sister and brother serving in the Dominican Republic. She enjoyed attending many International conventions.
Mrs. Davis was one of the eldest residents and homeowners in the Township of Montclair since the 1960s. Mrs. Davis enjoyed sharing proverbial scriptures and care throughout her many global travels. Throughout her remarkable journey, she not only served as a pillar of wisdom but also as a source of encouragement and inspiration, igniting passions and dreams in those she loved, cared for, and fellowshipped with. Mrs. Davis' legacy has resonated deeply and will continue to positively impact the hearts of her loving family and friends in the spirit of kindness, resilience, strength, joy, laughter, and loving understanding.
Mrs. Davis was sustained by her faith and hope in the Bible's promise of a resurrection, looking forward to living in a world free from sickness, war, and death. As reflected in Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
