Gladious Vaxter was born February 14, 1937, to the late
Henry Gamlin and Maggie Gray in Carthage, Mississippi. She gained
her wings on April 4, 2022 in the city of Belleville, New Jersey.
Gladious spent much of her life caring for her children. She
enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, making jokes,
traveling and watching Walker Texas Ranger. People often viewed her
as a social butterfly; making conversation with anyone she crossed paths
with. She enjoyed life and giving thanks to God.
Gladious formed a union with the late Clovis Vaxter. She leaves
to cherish her memories; her sons: Cordell and Christopher Vaxter,
daughters: Carla and Carol Vaxter, grandchildren: Zanobia Clary,
Christopher Stover, Araya Walton, Lenelle Moses, Kaylynn Dickerson,
Chynia and Katiana Vaxter. She also leaves her great grandchildren,
who she cherished: Nyomi and Nylah Freeman, Jeremiah and Joseph
Walton,Shaquon Clary, Zaheim Green, Yane' Alanos and her sisters:
Essie Nash, Halimah and Sarah Gray. There's a host of friends and
family who will miss Gladious dearly.
