James Misrendino, of Verona, passed away on December 18, 2024. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on January 3rd at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.


James lived in Verona for many years and was currently residing in Brighton Gardens in West Orange. He was an avid chess player and played chess at West Orange Chess Club for many years. He was a Fourth Degree Knight at the Knights of Columbus, and was an usher at Our Lady of the Lake in Verona for many years. He enjoyed music, history, and spending time with family.

James is survived by his brother Joe, sister-in-law Barbara, nephews Anthony and Matthew and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Dolores.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) would be greatly appreciated in loving memory of James Misrendino.
