Xenakis, James "Jim." Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at age 93. Cherished husband of Stella for 62 years. Beloved father of Nancy (David) and Cynthia (David). Devoted grandfather of Benjamin, Noah, Stella and Solomon.
Born and bred in Brooklyn, he graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School, received BS and MS degrees from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and had a rewarding career as a mechanical engineer.
Lover of classical music, opera and ballet, the beach, pigeons, horses and anything chocolate; collector of oil paintings; avid tennis and card player; sports fan; world traveler; gardener, builder and fixer of many things.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
