John Edwin Bray, Jr., 76, of Clifton, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Monday May 28th, 2018. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 31st from from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com

John was a patrolman for the Montclair Police Department for many years before retiring in 1994. He is survived by his children, Marianne Meneghin (Brian), Kathryn Lazaro (Phil), Joseph Bray (Kathryn), DonnaMarie Abassi (Sam), Kristin Bray, John Edwin Bray III (Meghan), and Timothy Bray (Christina Ciervo). His grandchildren, Tiffany Sheppard, Amanda Meneghin, Angela Meneghin, Eric Meneghin, Nicholas Bray, Conor Bray, Leighton Bray, Sophie Jastrzebski, Amanda and Victoria Lazaro, and and by his former wife Meri-Jayne.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Julia (nee Hendrickson).
