Joseph Caggiano, 68, born in Lacedonia. ( AV) Italy. He emigrated to the US in 1970 with his mother Rosina Caggiano, sister Anna Maria Caggiano and his brother Filippo Caggiano to join his father Michele Caggiano in the US. Beloved husband to Maria (nee Piccirillo), devoted father of Anthony and Brianna Caggiano and Rosanna and Carl Napolitano, Nonno to Carlo Napolitano and Valentina Caggiano will be dearly missed.

Joseph was a proud family man and his entire life was built on taking care of his family. In addition to his love of his family, Joe enjoyed gardening, he was a fan of Serie A Club Napoli, and an avid home renovation enthusiast. He was proud of continuing his tradition with his father of making wine with his son. Joe was a beloved teacher of Italian and Spanish language and retired from Rahway High School after 29 years. Joe is also survived by his sister, AnnaMaria Petullo and her husband Angelo Petullo, and by his brother Phil Caggiano and his wife Betty Ann Caggiano. He was the doting Zio Joe of 7 great nieces and nephews.
