Joseph Turriziani, 93, born on May 19, 1932, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at his home in Montclair, New Jersey. The home where he lovingly raised his family with his beloved wife of 68 years, Ann Turriziani (nee Dello Russo), who predeceased him on February 22, 2023.



Joseph proudly served his country as a veteran during the Korean War and was

honorably discharged after his service. He dedicated much of his professional life as an electrician, first with the Montclair Board of Education and later with the Garden State Parkway, where he worked until his retirement at the age of 62.



A devoted father and grandfather, Joseph leaves behind a family who cherished him. He is survived by his children Susan and her husband Ronald Buda, Joseph and his wife Maria, and Michael; his grandchildren Erica, Jenifer and her husband Ross Burack, Michael, and Joseph; and his great-granddaughter Chase.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montclair.



Joseph's legacy of love, integrity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of his family.
