Katherine Modero, 88, formerly of North Bergen, passed away on Saturday October 20th, 2018. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11m on Wednesday October 24th at St. Ann's Church in with an interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst. Katherine was an Administrator for the North Bergen Board of Education for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Modero and his wife Elizabeth, Michael Modero and his wife Cheryl, her grandchildren, Justin, Gina, Alexa, Michael, Caitlin, and many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her husband Bernard Modero in 2000, her parents Angelo and Angelina DeCongelio, and by 8 siblings.
