Lillian Zarrillo's Obituary
Lillian Zarrillo (nee Niosi), 96, longtime Montclair resident, passed away on March 31, 2022. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday April 8th Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, inurnment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Family came first and Lillian loved having her family over for Gravy. She was also "Aunt Lil" or "Grandma Lily" to many others. She worked for Signal Corps during World War II and then with her brothers at Valley Plating in Upper Montclair until becoming a loving mother.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Zarrillo and his wife Debra, MaryAnn Symons and her husband Edward, Nancy Mulzet and her husband Glenn, Susan Umbach and her husband John, and Lisa Tyrrell, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren (and one on the way), sister-in-law Colleen Zarrillo and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Canio Daniel Zarrillo, her great grandson Canio, her parents Nicoli and Isabella Niosi and by 10 siblings.
In lieu of flowers please donate to a foundation of your choice.
