Louis J. Ferrera Jr. of Upper Montclair died Saturday August 18, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, he was 86 years old. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday 10AM , at St. Cassian's Church ,Upper Montclair, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair . Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial 62 Grove St., Montclair

Mr Ferrera was the Comptroller, for J.B Williams & Co. in Cranford before retiring. he was a Graduate of Pace College with a B.S. in Accounting, a WWII Navy Veteran, and a former usher at St. Cassian Church.


He was predeceased by his wife Helen, and is survived by 1 son Thomas (Marianne) 3 daughters Carol Castellanos (Ronald B.) Janet Ferrera, Susan Brennan (Michael J.) 6 Grandchildren Ronnie, Michael and Kimberly Castellanos, Michael, Caroline and Jennifer Brennan.In lieu of flowers donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital , 1275 York Ave. , N.Y.N.Y. 10065 would be appreciated
