Louis Mongioi, born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey, 82 years old, passed away on April 2nd, 2022. He was affectionately known to many as "Uncle Lou". Visiting Thursday April 7th, 2022 at Caggiano Memorial from 10am-12pm, with a service beginning at 12pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.

He worked as a custodian for the Cedar Grove Board of Education for 19 years.

He was a big Yankees and NY Giants fan.
Besides his love for his family, Louis loved spending his summers at his beach house at Sound View in Old Lyme, Connecticut.

He is survived by his sister Lorraine Tucker and her husband David Tucker, Sr., his sister-n-law Frances Mongioi, his niece Kathy Stigler (Lou), his nephew Ronnie Mongioi and his nephew David Tucker, Jr. (Elaina) along with great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew.
He was predeceased by his mother Anna Mongioi (Stanisci), his father Angelo Mongioi, and his brother Ronald Mongioi.
