After defying the odds for so long, Margherite Moschella (nee Messina), 76, a long-time resident of Verona, lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, May 31, 2019. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, June 3rd at Our Lady of the Lake in Verona, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting on Sunday from 1-5 pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.

Margherite is survived by her husband, Carl Moschella, her children, James Moschella and his wife Priscilla, and Paul Moschella, and by her granddaughters, Deanna and Marissa Moschella. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Messina, and by her brother, Bobby Messina. She is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families.

Margherite loved listening to music, especially songs by Elvis and Neil Diamond, sunflowers, spending time in the backyard looking for birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals, and spoiling her children and granddaughters.
