Mariannina (Nina) Maiorana of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on November 24, 2024, surrounded her loving family at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral on Thursday, December 5th at 9 a.m. from Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair, N.J., with a Funeral Mass offered at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, N.J. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Nina was born and raised in Cassano Irpino, Province of Avellino, Campania, Italy, before immigrating to the United States in 1964. She was a Dress Designer and owned Nina's Custom Couture in Bloomfield, N.J. Nina is survived by her beloved sister, Dora Maiorana; and a loving niece and two nephews Anna Luongo Giglio, Phillip G. Maiorana, and Anthony J. Luongo; also, a grandniece Nicole A. Berchtold and three grand nephews, Phillip Maiorana, John Maiorana, Michael A. Giglio Jr.
She was predeceased by parents Salvatore and Erminia, her brother, John B. Maiorana; her sisters, Mafalda Maiorana, Esther Del Vescovo, Eleonora Luongo; two brothers-in-law John Luongo and Orlando Del Vescovo; and two nephews, Salvatore Maiorana and Orlando Del Vescovo Jr.
