Mark Stanisci, 62, passed away on May 27, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Mark was the son of Laurie and the late Rocco Stanisci and the oldest of the Stanisci brothers. He was a steady presence in his family and helped foster the strong bonds and traditions that endure today.

His greatest joy was his daughter, Emmie Rose. A devoted father, he was a constant source of love, encouragement, and support.

He worked for many years at ShopRite as a Head Receiving Manager, where he was respected for his work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help others.

He was predeceased by his father, Rocco Stanisci. He is survived by his daughter, Emmie Stanisci and her mother Gia Cicchetti; his mother, Laurie Stanisci; and his brothers, Michael (Kathy), Nick (Liz), and Jamie (Sharon). He was a beloved uncle to Michael J., Kate, Ryan, Helen, Amelia, Juliet, and Andrew, and great-uncle to Daniel McCann. He was also godfather to his nephews Michael J. and Andrew.

Mark valued his friendships and had a gift for making others feel welcome. A devoted New York Yankees and New York Giants fan, he remained loyal through every season and often laughed at Gramps’ phrase for the struggling Yankees teams: “Those Bums.”

He will be remembered for his strength, humor, generosity, and loyalty. His family and friends will miss him deeply.
