Maria "Mary" D'Anton, 83, passed away on October 15th, 2022 with her family by her side. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:30 AM at Saint Aloysius Church in Caldwell, entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum in East Hanover. Visiting hours Monday October 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair.

Mary was born and raised in Newark before settling in West Caldwell many years ago. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Vincent D'Anton and by her children Victor D'Anton and his wife JoAnn, Gerard D'Anton and his wife Valerie, Deneen Matus and her husband Michael, and by her grandchildren Victoria Passarelli and her husband Gytano, Anthony D'Anton and his fiancé Catherine, Trevor and Cassandra D'Anton, Marissa, Nina and Daniella Matus and by a great granddaughter Valen.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Philomena Santoro and by her siblings Louie, Michael, Emilio, Rosie, Dolly and Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shrine of St. Gerard or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
