Michael Marques-Bronco was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey on August 18, 1950, in a family of six with five older sisters. He was active in Saint Lucy's Church while growing up in his early years and became successful with his own home-improvement company. Being self-employed, he was very creative and a hard worker. He enjoyed music and taught himself how to play the guitar, which he occasionally enjoyed with his father who was a country western entertainer. He joined the first Baptist Church of Bloomfield and enjoying singing in the choir, he currently belongs to Silver Lake Baptist Church. He leaves one son, his name sake Michael who enjoyed car motorcycle and boat hobbies with.
He leaves four sisters Nancy Martinez, Barbara Castillo, Vicky Leone and Rosie Soto and many nieces nephews, grand nieces and nephews and was predeceased by both of his parents and another sister Geri Curran. He will be missed, and his life will be celebrated and remember by family and friends, who will take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be scheduled after the holidays
