Michael Sodano Sr., age 83 passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 after a short illness.
Michael was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to the late Dominick and Josephine Sodano. Raised in Montclair and a long-time resident of Florham Park for over 50 years.
Michael was the beloved husband to the late Beatrice Sodano, dear brother of Joseph Sodano, brother-in-law of Marie Farina and Gilbert Mendez. Cherished father of Stephen Sodano, Michael Sodano and his wife Virginia, Rene Holst and her husband Thomas. Proud Grandpa to his four grandchildren Kevin Sodano, Caroline Sodano, Tanner Sodano and Colleen Sodano. Loving uncle of Paul Farina and his spouse David; great-uncle to Charlotte and Leo, uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service followed by interment at Immaculate Cemetery in Montclair, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris Plain, NJ.
A memorial Service in his memory will be held at a later date.
