Michelina Santorelli was born on June 10, 1937 in Comiziano, (Naples), Italy. She immigrated with her family to the United States in December, 1956 to Newark, NJ. Michelina worked as a seamstress at Clara's Fashions which was owned by her brother-in-law, Rocco De John. She retired as seamstress in 1999. Michelina was a parishioner at St. Lucy's Church in Newark for many years. Michelina loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching the family grow.
Michelina was proceeded by her parents, Nicola and Carmella (nee Cavallaro) Santorelli. She was also proceeded by her sisters, Clorinda De John and Sabina Alfieri, and her brother-in-laws, Rocco De John, Donato Di Benedetto, and Angelo Raimato. Michelina is survived by her sisters, Virginia and Sam Della Fera, Immacolata Di Benedetto, and Yolanda Raimato. As well as, her many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on at 10:30am on July 27th at St Lucy's Church in Newark, interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
