Michelle C. Esposito 51,(nee McMahon) of Cedar Grove, formerly of Montclair, lost her battle with ALS on Saturday morning at 1:56 AM. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. As in life, she left with grace and continued to worry about everyone but herself.

She dedicated her life's work to serving others at the American Red Cross for 25 years as the Regional Volunteers Services Officer for NJ. Michelle graduated from George Mason University with a BA in sociology.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Dave Esposito, her sister Colleen Murphy, her brother Robert McMahon and his wife Cindi and many nieces and nephews. She is the loved daughter of Robert and Patricia McMahon.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 13, at 10 AM at Saint Cassian Church in Upper Montclair.

Gentle reminder to those who plan to attend the funeral mass that for the safety of each other, we kindly ask you please wear a mask and hold your precious hugs and kisses to a later date (when it is safer). Your simple presence as we mourn means the world to us and is greatly appreciated. For everyone's safety, we will not be congregating after the service. For those of you who choose not to attend services, it is completely understandable.

The entombment will be private. Visiting hours, Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michelle's name and specifically for the Fairfield Chapter Office can be sent to the American Red Cross of Northern

NJ, 209 Fairfield Road, Fairfield, NJ 07004 would be appreciated.
