Mildred Hooper (Pelullo), 85, of West Orange, formerly of Montclair, passed away on Monday October 11, 2021. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday October 16, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange, with a burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting Friday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.

Mildred was a volunteer at the West Orange Recreation Department People with Disabilities Program, and was a longtime active parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange.

She is survived by her children, Elaine Trusio and Nancy Hooper, and by her grandchildren, Michael, Lauren and Emma Trusio, and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2016, by her siblings, Michael Pelullo, Mary DiGeronimo, Jennie Figurelli, and Ann Martino, and by her son-in-law Michael Trusio.
