Neil Albore, born October 24, 1936, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully. He grew up in Newark, attending both Catholic and public schools through high school.
Neil proudly served in the United States Coast Guard, completing his active-duty tour before continuing in the Coast Guard Reserves until his retirement in 1996 after 42 years of dedicated service.
In his civilian career, Neil worked various jobs, including with the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company (NJ Bell). He later joined the Newark Police Department, beginning in call box repair and advancing to traffic signals and communications as a Senior Lineman. He retired from the Newark Police Department in 1998 after 36 years of service.
Neil resided in Montclair, New Jersey, for many years with his beloved wife of 36 years, Judy. He was the devoted father of two daughters: Dawn Albore and Linda Pagano (Vincent Pagano), all of the Forked River area. He was the cherished grandfather of two grandchildren: Anthony Pagano and his wife, Julissa of Beachwood, and Alyssa (Pagano) Beano and her husband Maurice of East Brunswick. He was also the loving great-grandfather of Gianna Pagano of Beachwood.
