Ninfa Colangelo of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at her home in New York City. Her wake will be held on Thursday, February 27th at Caggiano Memorial Home (62 Grove Street, Montclair NJ) from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A mass will be held at 10am on Friday, February 28th at Immaculate Conception Church (30 N Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ) followed by a burial at Ascension Cemetery (650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY).

Ninfa was born on October 26th, 1932 in Brooklyn and settled with her family in Rockland County. She was a loving and courageous mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a devoted and faithful sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. She had a love for the theatre, the opera, the arts, crossword puzzles, scrabble and bridge.

Ninfa is survived by her children Gerard, Michael, Stephen, Gino and Grace and their families. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gino Colangelo.
