Norma Jeanne Porter, a cherished resident of Toms River, NJ, passed away on April 4 th ,
2024, at the age of 72. The family announces her passing with profound sadness.
Norma is lovingly remembered by her children Greggory, Christopher (Maria), Stephanie
Riccio (Matthew), her cherished grandson Matty Riccio, and her sister Carol. She is
preceded in death by her devoted husband George, her parents Thaddeus and Eleanor
Senkowski, her sister Gloria Nadine Shiko, and brother Thaddeus Senkowski.
She grew up in Cedar Grove, NJ, Norma dedicated her life to her family. Her greatest
joy was spending time with her loved ones, hosting gatherings filled with laughter and
love. Norma had a passion for gardening, crocheting, cooking delicious meals,
decorating for holidays, and trying her luck at the slot machines in the casino. However,
her deepest joy came from witnessing her family's happiness.
Known for her generosity, resilience, unwavering love, strength of character, Norma's
life was defined by her dedication to her husband, children, extended family, and
friends. Her family fondly remembers her as both stubbornly determined and incredibly
loving, traits that shaped the beautiful life she lived. She leaves a legacy of love,
kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew
her.
Norma's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known
her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
