Paul Mislov, 59, passed away on October 22, 2023, at
his home in Montclair, NJ. He grew up in Valley
Stream, NY, the son of the late Marion DiGiovanni and
Svetko Mislov. He is survived by his loving wife Claire,
son Mateo, sister Maria Plati, brother-in-law Daniel
Plati, and their family - Joseph, John, Marianna,
Michael, Joseph, Leigh, and Luca.
Paul earned his BA in Accounting and MBA from NYU
Stern School of Business. He spent most of his career
in the music business, the last 28 years with Robbins
Entertainment LLC, an American dance music
company label.
Paul's kind spirit was evident in the way he lived his
life. He made time to enjoy annual trips with old
friends. Captiva, Florida, and Ireland were favorite
vacations for him and his wife. He was always up for
concerts, motorsport races, and baseball games (he
was an avid Mets fan). He loved cars and long drives
in upstate NY - to breweries or to spend time with
family. In addition to loving his dogs, Shea and Ace,
Paul volunteered at the local dog shelter.
There will be a private celebration of life.
