Pearl DiGeronimo, (nee Zingali), 98, of Montclair, passed away on Saturday November 18th, 2017. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday November 21st, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair with an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Pearl graduated from Montclair High School where she excelled at field hockey and was awarded state honors in 1936. She was the Executive Secretary at Montclair Community Hospital for many years, after retiring she worked at the family store, Post Office Plus in Upper Montclair, and also was a volunteer at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.

Pearl is survived by her children, Mary Ann Kerr and her husband Alan, Janet Bender and her husband Tommy, and Steven DiGeronimo, her grandchildren, Brenda Rodrigues, Dr. Andrea Kerr, Heather Kerr, Laurie Harris, Christine Bender, Thomas Bender Jr, and her great grandchildren Russell, Sasha, Cody, Tyler, Rachel, Austin
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. DiGeronimo, and by her sister Francis DeStefano, and her brother Anthony Zingali.
