Peter John Zichello, 85, of Cedar Grove, passed away on December 18, 2024. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday December 27th at Holy Angels Church in Little Falls, New Jersey with an inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey, repast TBA to follow.

Peter was born in Montclair on October 24, 1939. He graduated from Montclair High in 1956. Following graduation, he began his lifelong career in the automobile business. He started at Malcolm Konner Chevrolet in West Caldwell and moved several years later to the Paramus location to start Malcolm Konner Corvette with Bob Wasserman. This business held the title of the World's Largest Corvette Dealer until the dealership was sold in 1996. In 1991 Peter moved to the Ray Catena family. He worked as a manager and as the dealership's wholesaler until his retirement in 2021.
Peter is survived by his daughters, Deborah Mazalewski and her husband Joseph, Cheryl Lay and her husband Robert, his grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony, Zachary, Nicholle, Danielle, Samantha, her great grandson, John Walter the Fifth, and his sisters, Regina Guth, and Elizabeth Cioffari.

He was predeceased by his wife Claudia (nee Nolan), and by his sister Mary Shefford, and by his parents, Anthony Peter and Hazel Jean.
