It is with deep love and profound sadness that the family of Rajwantia Bishundeo, lovingly known as Sheila, announces her peaceful passing on December 8, 2025. Rajwantia was born on May 11, 1937, in Diamond Plantation, East Bank, Guyana, to her beloved parents Mansook and Dhanwanti. She was one of eight children, growing up alongside her three brothers: the late Sugrim, Deonarine (Ball), and the late Sonna - and her four sisters: Leela Panchu, Lila Sarran, Cecelia Chand, and Baby Persaud.
She was married to Cyril Jaimangal with whom she shared a happy and devoted life, until his passing. Together they raised eight children, who survive her along with their spouses: Omesh (wife Nadira), Suresh (wife Jenny), Shamie (late husband Buddy), Raj (wife Mona), Nalini (husband Rohit), Padmini (husband Victor), Joy (husband Rajo), and Narine (wife Shoba).
Her legacy extends through generations. She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and the great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
Her home was always filled with warmth, food, laughter, and the gentle wisdom she offered so freely. Rajwantia will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and boundless devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unity that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
