In Loving Memory of Robert F. Nicastro
November 21, 1984 – October 30, 2025

Life and Legacy

With heavy hearts and deep love, the passing of Robert F. Nicastro is announced. He left this world far too soon on November 30, 2025, at the age of 41. Robert was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose warmth, humor, and caring heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, Robert was the beloved son of Dawn Cueli-Nicastro and Robert F. Nicastro Sr. He was also lovingly raised by his grandparents Manuel and Marion Cueli, whose guidance and support helped shape his strong sense of family and compassion.

Robert was known for his huge heart, sparkling blue eyes, and radiant smile, qualities that reflected his love for those around him. He devoted himself to helping his family in countless ways: caring for his grandparents, supporting his mother, and helping raise his firstborn nephew, James, providing guidance, love, and support like a second father. His generosity, selflessness, and nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He graduated from East Brunswick High School and pursued his passion for mechanics at Lincoln Technical School, later working for 20 years at Crown Rol Leaf Inc., the family-owned business founded by his grandfather. Whether at work or at home, Robert approached life with dedication, care, and a joyful spirit that brightened every room he entered.

Family

Robert was a loving brother to Tracey Nicastro, Angelica Nicastro, Stephanie Wall, Michael Masonius, and Tyler Masonius, and a devoted uncle to James Nicastro-Cueli, Michael Mochen, Gabriella Irazrry, Caleb Cullison, and Joslyn Cullison. He cherished his nieces and nephews, always offering love, support, and pride, finding immense joy in their lives.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Manuel, Marion, and Joan Cueli, his beloved godparents Peter and Vera Cueli, and his uncle Scott Cueli, son of Manuel and Joan. Their love and memories remain forever intertwined with his own story.

Passions and Personality

Robert had a heart as big as his smile, with sparkling blue eyes that reflected his warmth, kindness, and genuine love for others. He had a lifelong passion for cars, music, concerts, history, and animals, and he shared these joys with everyone around him, inviting friends and family into the things he loved most.

Above all, Robert's personality was defined by his generosity, selflessness, and care for others. Whether helping his grandparents, supporting his mother, or nurturing his firstborn nephew, James, he always put the needs of those he loved first. His laughter, infectious smile, and joyful spirit could light up any room, leaving behind memories of love, warmth, and compassion that will be treasured forever.
