Mr. Samuel Joseph Pesce, age 62, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday December 10, from 1-4pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com
Mr. Pesce was born on December 21, 1954 in Flushing, NY., a son of the late Nick Pesce and Madeline Milella Pesce.
Mr. Pesce spent thirty-five years in law enforcement, retiring from Essex County in New Jersey. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Sam is survived by his loving wife, Deona Pesce; two children, A.J. Pesce, wife Kristina, of Rome, GA., and Nicole Marx, wife Channa, of Queens, NY; two brothers, Nick Pesce, wife Carol and Joe Pesce, wife Linda; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.
In lieu of customary remembrances the family request donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
