Samuel R. Zichelli (Butch), whose time in this world touched countless hearts, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on July 4th, 2025. Though his journey among us has ended, the impact of his love, wisdom, and laughter remains etched in the lives of all who were privileged to know him.

He is survived by his wife Joan of 65 years, his daughter Cynthia Zichelli, son Robert Zichelli and his wife Veronica: grandchildren Kristopher Faulend and his wife Angela, Kelly Faulend, Gabrielle Zichelli, Joseph Zichelli and Steven Zichelli as well as many nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be held at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove Avenue, Montclair NJ between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm on Monday, July 7th, 2025. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Aloysius Roman Catholic Church 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell NJ 07006 at 10:30am on Tuesday July 8th, 2025. Interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
