Shannon Louise Healy Keim born August 16, 1975, in Plainfield, New Jersey, unexpectedly passed away last week at the age of 48. She graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School in June 1993 and then attended Rutgers University where she was a sister of Sigma Delta Tau. Shannon graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Rutgers in May 1997 and went on to Seton Hall University, where she received her J.D. in May 2000. While attending school, Shannon worked at Colgate. After graduation from law school, Shannon worked for various law firms in the state of New Jersey, specializing in estate and trust planning.
Shannon leaves behind her mother Tracy Cain Healy, her father Bart Healy, sister Colleen Healy, and her loving husband James Keim. She is survived by two nephews and a niece. Forever the dog lover, she entrusted her cherished three dogs Monster, Sofie and Fiona with her husband upon her passing.
Visitation is at Caggiano Memorial located at 62 Grove Street in Montclair, New Jersey, on Thursday, October 5th, from 5 pm to 8 pm. A private burial is planned for Friday morning at Mount Hebron Cemetery. On Friday, October 6th, please join Shannon's family and friends for a Celebration of Life at Village Hall Restaurant located at 101 South Orange Avenue in South Orange, New Jersey from 12 pm to 3 pm.
