Vencenza (Dolores) Zarro of Toms River, formerly of Hillsborough, West Caldwell and Montclair, passed away December 18, 2020. A private mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on December 22, 2020 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, New Jersey; and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
Dolores was employed by Acme Markets, Inc. for 25 years as an Administrative Assistant and most recently for Advantage Sales and Marketing. She enjoyed travel, water aerobics, working in her garden and participating in the many activities and clubs of her community.
She is survived by sisters Angelina Wright, Shirley (Paul) Drexler, Rosemarie Caponegro, and Barbara Scillia and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Nicholas and Elizabeth (DeLena) Zarra, brothers Rocco and Robert Zarra, brothers in law, Joseph Caponegro and George (Buddy) Wright and loving fiancé John Oefelein.
